Betting on the Atlanta Falcons

Although it is only the fifth week of the season, the Falcons fighting at the top of the division is a huge accomplishment for a team about which there were many reservations before the season began.
Although Marcus Mariota has not been very accurate, adding more interceptions (4) than touchdowns (3), the quarterback has managed to lead the team in important moments and has also scored a couple of times on the ground. The ground attack has been Atlanta’s weapon, with two 200+ yard games and six TDs on the ground. They’ll have to capitalize on this against the Bucs, who conceded 189 yards to the Chiefs’ ground game.
Despite the big amount of total yards conceded to their opponents, things have gone well on the defensive side of the ball at the proper times. The key for the Falcons has been to make the most of the fumbles recovered, seven this season; however, against Tom Brady it won’t be so easy to force a fumble, so they will have to find other ways to stop him.
Betting on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay is having a terrible time after losing for the second week in a row, this time due to a bad performance by its key weapon in 2022: the defense.
Kansas City completely outplayed the Buccaneers by racking up 417 yards and five red zone conversions in six attempts. This is certainly a wake-up call for an area of the team that in the first three weeks didn’t allow more than 315 yards and 14 points to any opponent.
On offense, Brady woke up from a couple of somewhat troubled snaps with 385 yards and three touchdown passes. However, the ground attack remains non-existent after the first week. After totaling 152 yards against the Cowboys, Tampa Bay hasn’t been able to surpass 80 yards and barely registered three yards on the ground against the Chiefs. This is something they should try to exploit again against the Falcons, a team that in three of their four games has allowed more than 100 yards in this way.

Although the Falcons have a 2-5 record playing against the spread in the last seven games against Tampa Bay, this season the Atlanta team has fought their best and this Sunday seems to be no exception.
The Falcons’ two losses and two wins have all been decided by four points or fewer. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay definitely isn’t in a terrific situation, and it appears that crushing a confident team will be difficult for them.
