As the weeks go by, the NFL just keeps getting better and better. There is still a lot of regular season history to be unraveled, but some teams are beginning to emerge as contenders to win their division and conference because of the dominance they have shown against their rivals.
This weekend, the Jets vs Broncos game will be played as part of Week 7 of the 2022 NFL season. These teams are in different situations as they prepare for this clash, which may provide us with a better show. One team has been more focused on defense, while the other has been more focused on offense. So, the question here is, who will do a better job?

Betting on the New York Jets

The New York Jets have four wins and two losses this season, and with that record, they sit in second place in the AFC East Division. Their strategy has focused on offensive work and at the moment they have 143 points in favor.
Their losses were to the Baltimore Ravens by a score of 24-9 and to the Cincinnati Bengals by a score of 27-12. Surprisingly, they were the games in which their offense scored the fewest points so far. Their wins came against the Cleveland Browns by 31-30, the Pittsburgh Steelers by 24-20, the Miami Dolphins by 40-17 and most recently against the Green Bay Packers by 27-10.
Betting on the Denver Broncos
- Regular season record: 2-4
- DraftKings Spread: -1
- BetMGM Moneyline: -120
- Over/Under: 38
The Denver Broncos have been inconsistent offensively, and that has caused them serious problems, as they have only been able to win two of the six games they’ve played. Those victories came against the Houston Texans by 16-9 and the San Francisco 49ers by 11-10.
Although those wins happened in a row, they now have a three game losing streak: 32-23 to the Las Vegas Raiders, 9-12 to the Indianapolis Colts and 19-16 to the Los Angeles Chargers (those last two were overtime games.) Their defense is solid and has allowed only 99 points in six games, ranking them among the best collectively, and the reason why they are still competing for a postseason berth.
JefeBet Prediction
Although the Broncos have lost their last three games, their defense could be up to the task of slowing down the Jets’ offense, so we could expect Denver’s third win here. It will all depend on whether Russell Wilson can get out of his offensive slump and get enough touchdowns to keep the win out of reach for the Jets.
Prediction: Denver Broncos win by a score of 17-19.
