The Las Vegas Raiders may have made some big acquisitions for this NFL season, but the team is still a work in progress, and their 2-5 record that has them in the basement of the American Conference West division shows that it may be a few seasons before this outfit can really compete for big things.
They suffered their worst loss so far this season during their last performance, in which they lost by 24-0 against the New Orleans Saints.This will make them face their next match against the Jacksonville Jaguars with some nerves as they look to turn that result into a positive one against an opponent that on paper is accessible.
Considering that the Raiders are fighting for very little, getting good results or not seems inconsequential, but they will surely face this commitment with the seriousness it deserves. Despite their painful loss the previous week, the Raiders will start this match as slight favorites to win. However, this label has been overstretched on several occasions for Las Vegas, winning two of five games started that way, and they may not be able to live up to it again as the team has yet to be victorious when playing away from home this season.

This will be the second consecutive game in which the Las Vegas Raiders will start as underdogs by less than two points, and needless to say that the previous game was not evenly matched at any time.
It is worth noting that the Raiders have failed to cover their spread in three of their four away appearances this season, although it should not be forgotten that the team came away with a 16-33 victory on its last visit to TIAA Bank Field.

While Raiders fans may not be getting much reason to celebrate, they can’t say that the team hasn’t paid the price for the ticket so far as the vast majority of their games this season have been highly entertaining.
Three of Vegas’ last four games have ended with at least 50 total points, and prior to facing the Saints, they averaged 23.3 points per game as a visitor. Facing them will be a Jaguars team that has allowed more than 20 points in four of its last five games, and in all four it was held scoreless for less than 17 points.

Over/Under wins for the season: Over 6.5 (-130 for DraftKings) / Under 6.5 (+110 for DraftKings)
The Las Vegas Raiders’ win total dropped from 7.5 to 6.5 after their last loss, and with only nine games remaining in the regular season, they could be considered to still have a chance to meet the over.
However, the Nevada team will have to make the most of this month of November to get those victories, since starting in December they will face teams such as the Rams, Chargers, 49ers and Chiefs, although they will have some breathing space at the end of the year with games against the Patriots and Steelers.
AFC West Champions (+3500 from BetMGM)
Sportsbook took note of Vegas’ latest drop, with their odds to win their division going from +2000 to +3500. With the Chiefs leading by three games and looking like a more complete team on all fronts compared to the Raiders, the 20-year wait for a divisional pennant is sure to be a long one.

If their odds to win the division increased, what can we say about their odds to win the American Conference, which went from +2000 to a stratospheric +5000. Of course, to win the conference, you must first make the postseason, and that seems like a dream for even the most optimistic Raiders fan.
Raiders Win Super Bowl (+10000 from BetMGM)
Just like the aforementioned odds, the Las Vegas Raiders’ odds of winning their first Super Bowl since 1983 also dropped considerably, bringing their odds to five digits compared to +5000 in Week 8. This certainly won’t be their year, but if the franchise continues to work towards the future, maybe their new generation of fans will get to celebrate a championship for their team in some of the next few years.
