Thanks to a six-point comeback in the final period on the strength of two field goals, Los Angeles earned a win over the Falcons that keeps them just one game behind the Chiefs for the division lead and as the third wild card in the American Conference.
On the offensive side, Justin Herbert has had to carry the offense once again, considering that the Chargers’ ground game is one of the worst in the circuit, while the defense is the fourth highest in yards per play average at 5.9. In this way, it’s not surprising that four of his five wins have happened by five or fewer points.

San Francisco is fourth in average net yards per pass with 7.1 and is sixth in average yards per play with 5.9.
