The Raiders’ chances of fighting for their division or losing it all rely on how they perform against the Chiefs on Monday, direct opponents to whom they may come closer with a win.
This will not be an easy task, as they must achieve it on the road and with the inconsistency that has defined them this season. One of the players that needs to wake up is Derek Carr, the quarterback who has six TDs, four INTs and is coming off a blank against the Broncos. If Las Vegas wants to have any chance on Monday, Carr needs to wake the hell up.
The Raiders have been a touch better defensively; yet, they, like the offense, have had outstanding half of games and others to forget. They should be at their best against the Chiefs, as Patrick Mahomes leads one of the top offenses in the league, and Las Vegas has yet to hold an opponent under 20 points.

The star QB is coming off a 249-yard, three-TD performance against the Buccaneers, while the team’s ground attack totaled 189 yards.
The Chiefs’ defense has also been up to the task. Beyond Tampa Bay’s 31 points with the game already decided, Kansas City has conceded 24 points or fewer in three of its four clashes, while allowing 82 yards or fewer on the ground in its last three games, including just three to the Bucs. This will undoubtedly be a tough test for Carr and company.
