Betting on the Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers enter Week 5 of the NFL regular season in last place in the AFC North division. After defeating the Bengals in Week 1, the team has lost three consecutive games with the last of them before the New York Jets. This was an agonizing game, as they blew a ten-point lead in the fourth quarter and lost 24-20.
The main news within the Steelers this week has been that rookie Kenny Pickett will replace Mitch Trubisky at the quarterback position after an outstanding performance in the second half of that game against the Jets, scoring two touchdowns on the ground (although he also had three passes intercepted.)
Betting on the Buffalo Bills
The Bills, leading contenders to win the Super Bowl this season and current second place finishers in the AFC East division, proved that a stumble is not a fall by bouncing back from their Week 3 loss to the Dolphins with a 23-20 win in Week 4 against a great team such as the Baltimore Ravens: a win that certainly serves to reinforce the team’s favorite status.
That matchup against the Ravens tested the Bills’ will, as they went into the half-time break with a 10-point disadvantage and ended up winning with a field goal on the last play of the game despite having just 21:50 minutes of possession. This proved Buffalo’s ability to overcome adversity in games in which it’s not widely dominant.
