Betting on the Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans showed their mettle by turning around what was a chaotic start to the regular season:they lost in the first two weeks, but they haven’t lost again ever since, winning five consecutive games, with the last one being against a divisional rival like the Houston Texans by a score of 17-10.
Remarkably, it has been the Titans defense that has stepped up to the plate by allowing fewer than 20 points in the four most recent games. They should continue to do so considering the team averages the fewest total yards per game in the entire NFL at just 303.4.
Betting on the Kansas City Chiefs
The schedule hasn’t been kind to the Kansas City Chiefs, who had to face three Super Bowl favorites during October; however, they managed to come out on top winning three of four games, including the last one by 44-23 against the San Francisco Giants, and will be well rested for this matchup after having a Week 8 bye.
This game will serve to showcase the Chiefs’ championship credentials, and the thrashing of the 49ers also made it clear that they did indeed have the best offense in the league.The team heads into Week 9 with the second-highest average in total yards per game (415.7) and yards per pass (296.0), while leading in average points per game (31.9) and third-down conversion percentage (51.9%).

While the Titans are in excellent shape, there are two major question marks heading into this game, as both their starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill and star running back Derrick Henry might miss the game if they do not recover in time.
Tannehill couldn’t play in Tennessee’s last game, which might make a difference against one of the best teams in the American Conference, the Chiefs. Furthermore, while the Titans have shined on defense overall, their weakest point is their defense against the pass, ranking ninth worst in the league in that regard (254.7 yards allowed on average).
