This is the fourth week of college football activity and everything points to things getting hotter among the teams participating. Since the 2022 NCAA season kicked off, surprises have been the order of the day, as some teams that were previously listed as favorites have not looked as strong as expected.

The Utah Utes only suffered defeat in Week 1 of the 2022 NCAA season, falling to Florida by a score of 29-26. So far it’s the game that has required them the most effort, as it was a close duel despite the Utes scoring points in each of the four quarters.
That loss seems to be in the past now, as they have two consecutive wins, having beaten Southern Utah by a crushing score of 73-7, and then San Diego State 35-7. They’ll need to win once more to avoid dropping positions in the Pacific-12 South, where they are rivals with Arizona State.

Arizona State’s history this season was the opposite of that of its rival in turn, since it started with a victory over Northern Arizona by a score of 40–3, which generated a lot of expectations. They were unable to repeat the feat, however, and so far they have lost their last two games: 34 -17 to Oklahoma State and by 30–21 to Eastern Michigan.
Utah’s quality is similar to these previous opponents, so it will be an important challenge; plus, they share the same conference. Arizona is in second-to-last place in its zone, the second-lowest scoring team.
