Frenkie de Jong turned 25 this May 12 and although FC Barcelona congratulated him on their social networks, everything points to the fact that his destiny will be outside the institution.

1.- Manchester United
The English press claims that Manchester United is interested in acquiring the services of Frenkie de Jong and that they are prepared to make an offer in the coming days. According to the Manchester Evening News, the “Red Devils” would pay 75 million pounds sterling. The fact that Erik ten Hag is going to manage Manchester United makes this proposal credible, as the tactician and the player already worked together at Ajax.
2.- PSG
The Premier League side is not the only one interested in the former Ajax man, as Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have also entered the fray for his services. It is very likely that the Parisian team will have to start a new project, and that would mean that many of its midfielders would leave the squad. Although nothing is certain yet, as they are still negotiating for the renewal of French striker Kylian Mbappé, who is being tempted by Real Madrid. If Mbappé does not leave, it is unlikely that De Jong will arrive at PSG, as there would not be enough money to add him.
