The purse for the RSM Classic in 2022 will be $8.1 million, an increase of precisely 12.5% from the 2021 total of $7.2 million. Moreover, this $900,000 represents the largest increase in the tournament purse from one year to the next, being surpassed only by the 2013 RSM Classic ($5.5 million – $1.5 million more than the previous edition).

The winner in 2021, Talor Gooch, walked away with $1,296 billion to his credit, and. the champion of this 2022 RSM Classic will earn a total of $1,458,000 million.   • Only one golfer in all history has been able to win this tournament on more than one occasion, that being Robert Streb (2014 and 2020).
  • There haven’t been any instances in the past 12 years of the runner-up of one edition winning the competition in the following edition.
  • The best score in the competition is 22 under par, recorded by Talor Gooch (2021) and Kevin Kisner (2015).
  • Only once in history has a Latino managed to finish in the top two places at the RSM Classic, with that being Colombian Camilo Villegas (second place, 2016).
