Following a 21-28 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1 preseason action, the Packers were able to rebound by quietly defeating the New Orleans Saints 20-10 in a game in which they did not demonstrate an obvious advantage.
The Packers outgained their opponent by just over 40 total yards, and possession during the game was fairly even. Now, they will have to travel outside Lambeau Field again to face another great team in the league, and will hope to build on that last win.
Betting on the Kansas City Chiefs
- Record: 1-1-0
- Spread: +2
- Moneyline: +148
- Over/Under: 36.5
Similar to the Packers, the Chiefs bounced back from a 19-14 setbackto the Bears in Week 1, defeated the Washington Commanders 24-14 in Week 2, and this will be their second consecutive home game before starting the season with a visit to Arizona.
One thing to note about Kansas’ preseason is that the team hasn’t relied heavily on its ground game, sinceits first two performances saw it gain less than 65 yards through the air; however, the 251 yards through the air in the last game against Washington look promising for a team that has used this as its main weapon in recent years.
JefeBet Prediction
The Packers seem to have had things a little tougher playing away from home and against strong teams this preseason. It is clear that the Chiefs won’t play with their top names, and the simple fact of leaving home will surely be a challenge for them.
Additionally, the Chiefs will want to take advantage of this last home appearance to close their preseason on a high note before starting what will be a complicated first few weeks of the regular season, so we believe they could come away with the win.
Prediction: Kansas City Chiefs Moneyline
