Ibai Llanos, streamer, has broken the record for the most people watching a live stream on Twitch. This happened on June 25, 2022 during the event La Velada del Año II, a boxing match where several youtubers, streamers and others fight each other inside the ring.
Llanos is a Spaniard who has been active in the egaming world since 2014. He started as a League of Legends narrator, but in 2018 his popularity took off. He even narrated an Athletic Bilbao game. In 2020 he joined G2 Esports, a company dedicated to e-sports, to start working as a streamer.
In 2021, he resigned from G2 to devote himself to his personal projects. In the same year, Ibai Llanos, along with Gerard Piqué, launched KOI, an e-sports team. For all these reasons, he was also included in Forbes’ list of “Spain’s most influential people in the world”.
