Jake Paul has been having trouble organizing his next fight, which will take place Aug 6th at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The fight, which was initially scheduled to take place against Tommy Fury, experienced a change after the Englishman was denied entry to the United States due to his family’s ties to Daniel Kinahan, an Irish boxing promoter who is wanted as the leader of an organized crime ring.
The situation did not seem to please Jake Paul, who accused Tommy Fury of “hiding” and not doing enough to make the fight happen, issuing a statement to that effect on Wednesday.
Fury’s received a termination notice. Most Valuable Promotions did everything possible to help him and his team. He was not interested and literally went into hiding. Second time in a row he has pulled out… Second time in a row. I will step up and get a new opponent as soon as I can.

Now, Who Will Be Jake Paul’s New Rival?
Jake Paul made good on his word and has already found a new opponent for his next fight, with this one being heavyweight Hasim Rahman Jr. son of former world heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman, as reported by Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix.
With this, Jake Paul will face a real boxer for the first time in his career, something which had made him a target of criticism because although he is undefeated in five fights (four of which ended in KO) none of them were against a “real boxer”.
It will be a duel between old acquaintances, as Paul and Rahman Jr. have shared time together in the past, with the latter having praised the YouTuber’s improvement over the years. Nevertheless, Hasim Rahman Jr. will not have to neglect his work, because even though he has a record of 12-1 as a professional, that loss occurred in his last fight, losing to James McKenzie by knockout in April.
As regards Jake Paul, this fight against Rahman Jr. will be his first since December last year, when he defeated Tyron Woodley by knockout.
