This Monday, it was announced that Jake Paul will fight again in the next few months. This was made known by the influencer on Twitter through a video.
Jake Paul’s last boxing fight occurred in December, when he defeated Tyron Woodley by knockout. With this, the celebrity extended his undefeated record in his career in the ring to 5-0, including four wins by knockout.
While the date of the fight has already been set, we are all still waiting to know his opponent or the site where the event will take place. However, he is not expected to face a higher ranked opponent, considering that all of his fights to date have been against fighters with questionable records, while some claim he has not faced a “real” fighter yet.
Jake Paul himself gave a tempting list of opponents in an interview with Teddy Atlas, which included Floyd Mayweather, Oscar de la Hoya, Anderson Silva, Michael Bisping, and Tommy Fury. Of all of them, it is Bisping who is the most likely to fight against him considering both had an exchange of words recently on networks, although Bisping’s visual problems could be an impediment.
Anderson Silva’s name was also recently ruled out, after Jake Paul suggested that Mike Tyson would be the perfect opponent as the influencer and his team look for someone with a big-name to help make the event even more media-friendly.
Mike Tyson is the biggest name possible. For sure that’s number one on my list. He just called me out on Joe Rogan’s podcast and said, ‘Let’s do it.’ I think that breaks so many records. It would be fun. It would be legendary and it would be crazy for me to share the ring with such an iconic legend, someone that I look up to. It would be weird fighting him but at the same time, it would be awesome.

What Has Become of Jake Paul’s Life since his Last Fight?
Jake Paul has been away from the ring lately, but returned to training during the month of March, although his mind has been far from any fights until now.
His main role has been as a promoter, with the last of his duties being in the lightweight title fight between Katie Taylor and Puerto Rican Amanda Serrano, who ended up losing by split decision last Saturday.
With that fight over, it looks like Paul’s job now will be to prepare for his next fight.
