Scottish midfielder Ryan Gauld was one of the Vancouver Whitecaps‘ best performers, providing the assist for teammate Javain Brown’s 87th-minute equalizer. This was his sixth assist of the season and he is the team’s player with the most assists.
Midfielder: Alejandro Bedoya – Philadelphia Union
The Philadelphia Union midfielder was very involved in the attack during the 6-0 win over Houston Dynamo. Bedoya contributed three assists, and was one of his team’s top performers over the weekend. So far, he has five goals and five assists in total for the season.
Forward: Luis Amarilla – Minnesota United
Paraguayan striker Luis Amarilla, who plays for Minnesota United, was outstanding in the 4-4 draw against Portland Timbers. The player recorded two goals and an assist in the match, giving him a total of seven goals and four assists, and is the second player with the most participation in his team’s attack.
Forward: Mikael Uhre – Philadelphia Union
Denmark’s Mikael Uhre had a tremendous performance in Philadelphia Union’s 6-0 thrashing of Houston Dynamo. The striker did his job and scored two goals, but also added an assist to his tally. He now has eight goals and two assists on the season.
