The MLS Week 8 will be a high-intensity affair, since at this point of the season the teams that are contenders begin to separate themselves from one another, and it is also here where weak performances are evident.

Every weekend, the North American league presents thrilling matches and these are the 4 MLS Week 8 games that we consider worth watching on TV.

1.- Cincinnati vs Los Angeles FC

FC Cincinnati is not shining this season as they have only two wins in seven games, but what is most striking is that they have three games without a win. These numbers place them second to last in the Eastern Conference and the match they will play in this Week 8 of the MLS does not offer an encouraging outlook.

The opponent is LAFC, a team that has had only one loss so far this season, while winning five of seven games played. As a result, it leads the Western Conference with 16 units. A win in this game would give the LA team the opportunity to remain as the leader of the zone.

This match will be played on Sunday, April 24 at 14:00 (Pacific time) at the TQL Stadium.

2.- CF Montreal vs Philadelphia Union

This will be quite an interesting match during MLS Week 8. The local Philadelphia Union lost their undefeated record last weekend after losing 2-1 to Toronto, but that was not enough to lose the Eastern Conference lead with 16 points.

They will face CF Montreal, who is experiencing its best moment, with three consecutive victories and four unbeaten matches. A win here could move them up a few positions in the Eastern Conference.

The Canadian team will be a tough test for the Philadelphia team, who will be looking to stay at the top.

This match will be played on Saturday, April 23 at 12:00 (Pacific time) at Subaru Park.

3.- New York City FC vs Toronto FC

New York City FC seems to be regaining the form that led them to win the MLS Cup last season. After losing two consecutive matches, they returned to winning ways with a 6-0 victory over Real Salt Lake and will try to put on a similar performance again, taking advantage of the fact that they will be playing at home.

After their second win of the season, the New York team will not find themselves following the easiest path since they will face Toronto FC, who haven’t lost in four games and are coming off a 2-1 victory over Eastern Conference leaders Philadelphia Union.

This match will be played on Sunday, April 24 at 2:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) at Citi Field.

4.- Orlando City SC vs New York Red Bulls

Orlando City will be looking to take advantage of their home advantage in this match to try to get to the top of the Eastern Conference standings, where they are currently in second place with 14 points. So far, they have four wins in the tournament and come into this match with two consecutive victories.

The New York Red Bulls, who have gone two games without a win, are looking to break their losing streak and gain three points to catch up to Orlando’s team in the zone standings, where they are only three points behind.

This match will be played on Sunday, April 24 at 12:30 p.m. (Pacific time) at Orlando City Stadium.
