It did not take Duraev long before he bounced back from his first loss in the UFC. After a TKO defeat to Joaquin Buckley in June 2022, Duraev muscled out a split decision victory against Chidi Njokuani last March during UFC Fight Night: Vera vs. Sandhagen. Duraev made the difference with his takedown skills, as he had two TDs to zero by Njokuani.
The 34-year-old Russian has always been confident in his grappling. It’s easy to see why since he’s got nine wins via submissions. He’s not been submitted so far in his pro career. In his last four fights, he’s scored six takedowns and got taken down just once. Since 2015, Duraev has lost just once across 12 fights.

Many think that Park is an underrated fighter in the middleweight class, but he’s going to get a shot to turn more heads this week. Park is cruising on a three-fight win streak. He earned a split decision victory over Eryk Anders in May 2022 and followed that up with a submission win against Joseph Holmes in October of 2023.
The good times continue for Park because he won his first bout of the year last February via submission against Denis Tiuliulin during UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Spivac. Park appears to be capable of finding ways to win whether with his striking or grappling. He has a 5-1 T/KO record and a 5-2 submissions slate. His takedown defense is impressive, having avoided 70 percent of his opponents’ attempts to bring him to the mat in the UFC.
