Brundage will look to take full advantage of his opportunity here. He has lost both his last two bouts, but can turn heads if he could pull off a scintillating performance this coming weekend. Bruce lost to Michal Oleksiejczuk via knockout in December 2022 then suffered a submission loss to Rodolfo Vieira just last April during UFC Fight Night: Song vs. Simon.

Like Brundage, Dumas is aiming to get back on track after losing in his most recent bout. The 27-year-old Dumas got submitted by Josh Fremd last March during UFC Fight Night: Yan vs. Dvalishvili. He was absolutely dominated by Fremd, but that could also be a lesson that he just needed to learn in order to become a much more complete and dangerous fighter in the UFC. After all, that was just the first loss of The Reaper’s career in MMA.
One thing that is clearly going to be an advantage for Dumas against Brundage is his length. He has a 79-inch reach — seven more than Brundage. That should help him keep Brundage at bay. He also has four knockout wins and a pair of submission victories. He isn’t too shabby of a grappler, as evidenced by his impressive win via guillotine choke over Matej Penaz last year.
