There is no doubt that Holloway is one of the greatest featherweights to ever fight in UFC history. He is a former champion of the division looking to get another shot at the title after parting ways with the belt in a loss to Alexander Volkanovski last year. Holloway rebounded right away from that setback, as he dominated Arnold Allen for a unanimous decision victory during the headling event in a UFC Fight Night event last April.
If it was not for Volkanovski, Holloway would have only one loss in his UFC career. Holloway is a talented striker with serious power behind his blows, as evidenced by the fact that he has a 10-0 T/KO record in the UFC. There was a stretch in his career wherein he scored knockout wins three times in a row against Anthony Pettis and Jose Aldo (twice).

He lasted four rounds against Volkanovski before getting TKO’d. The Korean Zombie is renowned for his power and grappling. He has a 6-4 T/KO record and a perfect 8-0 submission slate. Among those on the list of his submission victims is Dustin Poirier, whom he defeated with a sick execution of a D’Arce Choke way back in 2012.
Meanwhile, one of his most memorable knockouts came at the expense of former champion Frankie Edgar in 2019. Jung knows a win over Holloway will give his career a massive kick and could land him a title fight again next, potentially against Volkanovski again, so look for him to go all out.
