Jon Jones will make his debut in the heavyweight division by fighting against a former title challenger, Ciryl Gane, in the main bout for the title left vacant after
Francis Ngannou got fired from the organization. Ciryl Gane has been nearly flawless since making his UFC debut in 2019 with an 8-1 record. The close decision loss to Ngannou is the only blemish on his record.

Flyweight
The co-main event sees another stellar champion return to the octagon: it’s women’s flyweight queen Valentina Shevchenko, undefeated since her joining the category in 2018 with nine consecutive victories. Alexa Grasso, meanwhile, comes into this bout having won her last four bouts.

Geoff Neal (+390) vs Shavkat Rakhmonov (-530)
Welterweight
Geoff Neal and Shavkat Rakhmonov are ranked 7th and 10th, respectively. Rakhmonov has a 4-0 record in the UFC and has finished all of his opponents in less than two rounds. The former M-1 Global champion submitted Magny in his last fight at UFC Vegas 57 in June 2022.
Neal comes into the fight on a two-fight winning streak, having defeated Santiago Ponzinibbio and Vicente Luque at UFC 269 and UFC Vegas 59, respectively. Before that, he lost to Stephen Thompson and Neil Magny.
Prediction: Shavkat Rakhmonov wins by decision.
Mateusz Gamrot (-215) vs Jalin Turner (+170)
Lightweight
Jalin Turner has done very well at lightweight, as he has annihilated his last five opponents in a row. He will be facing one of the best grapplers in the division (Gamrot), but Turner will be ready for him when he wrestles him.
Turner’s (13-5 MMA, 6-2 UFC) original opponent was Dan Hooker, who withdrew due to a broken hand. Gamrot, a 32-year-old Pole, is coming off a loss to Beneil Dariush in Abu Dhabi. In UFC, he has a 4-2 record.
Prediction: Mateusz Gamrot wins by unanimous decision.
Bo Nickal (-1430) vs Jamie Pickett (+850)
Lightweight
Bo Nickal, the 2019 winner of the Dan Hodge Award given to the top college fighter in the United States, makes his UFC debut against Jamie Pickett. Nickal had a perfect run in his debut year in MMA in 2022, defeating three opponents in a total of 147 seconds. Picket is coming off two straight losses and needs a win to get back on track.
