Former interim lightweight champion Ferguson is going to try to break his losing skid again. He’s lost all his last five fights. Nevertheless, he’s someone who can’t be taken lightly by Green, who hasn’t looked much better than El Cucuy over his last few fights. Green has gone winless in three fights. Between these two fighters, there are 23 knockout wins and 16 submission victories.
Prediction: Green wins via knockout.
Stephen Thompson (-155) vs Michel Pereira (+135)
Welterweight
Thompson and Pereira are ranked seventh and 15th in the welterweight division in the UFC, respectively. These two are explosive strikers with a combined knockout record of 18-2. Thompson snapped a two-fight losing skid by scoring a knockout victory over Kevin Holland in his last bout, while Pereira has won all of his last five fights, dating back to 2020.
Prediction: Thompson wins via knockout.
Michael Chiesa (+125) vs Kevin Holland (-145)
Welterweight
Chiesa will look to break a two-fight losing skid in this fight versus Holland, who, on the other hand, is coming off a victory. This should be an entertaining battle between a submission expert in Chiesa and a knockout artist in Holland. Chiesa (18-6-0) has zero knockout wins but has an 11-4 submission record. Holland has a 7-3 submission slate and a 13-1 knockout record.
