Two of the best representatives of the flyweight category will fight to the delight of all mixed martial arts fans, who will follow it on TV and at the classic venue of the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Jessica Andrade vs Erin Blanchfield will be the ideal dish for a menu of pure adrenaline.

That’s why UFC Fight Night brings its big fights to Sin City, where there will be three other main event bouts and a good handful of preliminary fights to keep everyone happy.

While none of the main card bouts will have titles on the line, the evening promises to be a high-level affair, with some of the octagon’s seasoned heavyweights facing prospects looking to earn a spot in Dana White’s firm.

Without further ado, JefeBet presents the predictions for some of the most prominent UFC Fight Night fights on February 18. Plus, we will show you our betting preview, as well as information on how each of the fighters is coming along.

Jessica Andrade (-182) vs Erin Blanchfield (+145)

Flyweight

Brazil’s Jessica Andrade emerged as a last-minute opponent for Erin Blanchfield after the withdrawal of her compatriot, Taila Santos, due to undisclosed reasons. Andrade, however, is a high-level and competitive opponent: she is a former strawweight champion, and she recently defeated Lauren Murphy, what extended her winning streak to three straight victories.

For her part, Blanchfield, who previously fought for Invicta FC, has never lost since her arrival in the UFC. In her last fight, she surprised everyone by defeating Molly McCann by knocking her out at UFC 281. A good win could move her up the rankings with an eye on a title fight.

Prediction: Jessica Andrade wins by decision.

Jordan Wright (+240) vs Zac Pauga (-305)

Light-heavyweight

Born in Denver with Samoan roots, Zac Pauga made his UFC debut last August, and the result was not as expected: he lost by KO to Nigerian Mohammed Usman. The undercard was far from ideal, but the 34-year-old fighter still has credit for progress in the signing.

Jordan Wright, 31, was born in Texas and is a natural middleweight. We will have to see how he responds to moving up a category. He’s coming off three consecutive defeats, all in a resounding manner, which questions the possibility of emerging successful from this fight.

Prediction: Zac Pauga wins by technical knockout.

Josh Parisian (+170) vs Jamal Pogues (-215)

Heavyweight

If two heavies meet, there are sparks over the octagon. With a pair of wins on Dana White’s Contender Series, Pogues finally broke into the UFC last year. He now makes his octagon debut against veteran Josh Parisian, who like Pogues needed a couple of tries to get on the UFC roster.

Parisian fought for the first time on the Contender Series in 2018, winning with a spinning back fist KO that somehow wasn’t enough to get him signed to the big show. His UFC record is 2-2, with wins over Roque Martinez and Alan Baudot, and losses to Parker Porter and Don’Tale Mayes.

Prediction: Jamal Pogues wins by KO.

William Knight (+102) vs Marcin Prachnio (-127)

Light-heavyweight

After a great performance in Dana White’s Contender Series, American William Knight was signed by UFC, where his performance has been very irregular. Since joining in 2020, he has won three bouts, lost another three, and accumulated two consecutive defeats. He does, however, have great KO power.

In front of him will be Poland’s Prachnio, who began his UFC career with three straight losses. Then, he won two fight, and when he was ready to make the leap, he lost his last fight, against Philipe Lins.

Prediction: Marcin Prachnio wins by unanimous decision.

Jim Miller (+165) vs Alexander Hernandez (-210)

Lightweight

Although listed as a preliminary fight, it has the aura of a main event bout, as one of the headliners is 39-year-old Jim Miller, a seasoned octagon veteran. He is currently on a three-fight win streak, having knocked out Erick Gonzalez and Nikolas Motta before defeating Donald Cerrone by choking.

His opponent, Hernandez, will be making his first fight this year after a very bad 2022: he is coming off two consecutive losses and needs a win to get back on his feet.

Prediction: Jim Miller wins by unanimous decision.
