Betting Preview for UFC Fight Night Featuring Cory Sandhagen vs Rob Font & Other Big Cards on August 5 2023
Cory Sandhagen (-295) vs Rob Font (+245)
Catchweight
Sandhagen will look to keep his win streak going. He is on a two-fight undefeated run after beating Marlon Vera last March via a split decision. He is 16-4-0 with a 7-0 T/KO record along with three submission victories. Font will try to make the most out of his chance, as he replaces the injured Umar Nurmagomedov as Sandhagen’s opponent. Font is coming off a knockout win just last April against Adrian Yanez to bring his record to 20-6-0. He has a 9-0 T/KO record.
Prediction: Sandhagen wins via decision.
Jéssica Andrade (+320) vs Tatiana Suarez (-390)
Women’s Strawweight
Former champ Jessica Andrade is looking for her second win of the year. She has actually already fought three times in 2023, winning the first one in January before losing the next two. Andrade keeps a 24-11-0 record with nine and eight T/KO and submission wins, respectively. She will be up against a fierce opponent in Suarez, who is undefeated in 10 fights. Suarez has a 2-0 T/KO record and a 5-0 submission slate.
Prediction: Suarez wins via decision.
Dustin Jacoby (+130) vs Kennedy Nzechukwu (-150)
Light Heavyweight
Jacoby (18-7-1) will try to snap a losing skid after losing back-to-back in his last two fights. He most recently fought against Azamat Murzakanov in April but suffered a unanimous decision loss. His last two losses were in fights that went the distance. Nzechukwu is currently trending much better, as heis on a three-fight win streak, during which he scored two T/KO victories. The African Savage has a 12-3-0 record.
Prediction: Nzechukwu wins via KO.
Diego Lopes (-140) vs Gavin Tucker (+120)
Featherweight
Lopes has been fighting in the professional ranks in over a decade now, but he continues to look for his first win in the UFC after failing to do so in his debut last May against Movsar Evloev (UD). The 28-year-old Brazilian has a 21-6-0 record and a formidable 11-0 submission record, though, he also has an 8-2 T/KO slate. Tucker, on the other hand, is 13-2-0 and is also coming off a loss (Dan Ige via KO/TKO) but that was way back in 2021. He has a 4-1 and a 6-0 T/KO and submission records, respectively.
Prediction: Tucker wins via decision.
Tanner Boser (-165) vs Aleksa Camur (+140)
Light Heavyweight
Boser is looking to get back on track following two losses in a row. Despite his recent struggles, he is still sporting a good record of 20-10-1 with 11 wins coming via knockouts. The 31-year-old Boser will meet 27-year-old Camur inside the Octagon this Saturday who is also on a two-fight losing skid. Camur, who has a 5-0 T/KO record, hasn’t fought since 2021.
Prediction: Boser wins via KO.
Ignacio Bahamondes (-205) vs Ľudovít Klein (+175)
Lightweight
Bahamondes is on a roll, having won all of his last four fights. He carries a 14-4-0 pro record with nine of his wins coming via knockouts. He will be matched up against Ľudovít Klein, who has been undefeated in his last three fights. Klein is 19-4-1 with an 8-1 KO record and 8-2 submission slate.
Prediction: Klein wins via KO.
