Rafael Fiziev (-142) vs. Mateusz Gamrot (+120)
Lightweight
Fiziev (12-2-0) got tripped up in his last fight, as he saw his six-bout win streak end in a majority decision loss to Justin Gaethje at UFC 286: Edwards vs. Usman 3 in March. Fiziev’s striking skills and great takedown defense will be put to the test versus Gamrot (22-2-0), who has seven T/KO wins and five submission victories.
Prediction: Gamrot wins via unanimous decision.
Bryce Mitchell (-166) vs. Dan Ige (+140)
Featherweight
Mitchell (15-2-0) was rapidly rising in the featherweight ranks but his momentum took a big hit when he suffered a submission loss at the hands of Ilia Topuria last December. He will aim to restore MMA fans’ confidence in him when he faces off against Dan Ige (17-6-0), who is on a roll of late, having won two fights in a row heading into this bout.
Prediction: Dan Ige wins via decision.
Marina Rodriguez (-305) vs. Michelle Waterson-Gomez (+245)
Women’s Strawweight
Rodriguez (16-3-2) and Gomez (18-11-0) will meet for the second time in their respective careers. The 36-year-old Rodriguez defeated Gomez in the first meeting via unanimous decision back in 2021 before beating Mackenzie Dern and Yan Xiaonan consecutively. However, she’s gone 0-2 since, so she’s looking at dominating a familiar foe as she looks to sneak back in the top 10 rankings of the women’s strawweight division. Gomez has yet to recover since that loss to Rodriguez, as she lost her next two fights versus Amanda Lemos and Luana Pinheiro.
Prediction: Rodriguez wins via unanimous decision.
Bryan Battle (-192) vs. AJ Fletcher (+160)
Welterweight
Battle is coming off a sensational knockout win over Gabe Green last May, needing just 14 seconds to score the victory. He has a 10-2-0 record with eight victories via T/KOs (3-0) and submissions (5-1) combined. Fletcher, meanwhile, lats fought back in February, scoring a submission win at the expense of Themba Gorimbo at UFC Fight Night: Andrade vs. Blanchfield. Of his 10 victories (10-2-0), only one did not end up in a decision.
Prediction: Battle wins via KO.
Ricardo Ramos (+105) vs. Charles Jourdain (-125)
Featherweight
Ramos is looking for consistency in the UFC. He has alternated wins and losses over his last five fights, failing to win back-to-back bouts over that stretch. He has sa 16-4-0 revcord with seven via submissions. Jourdain, on the other hand, has almost the same case, as he’s gone 3-2 in his last five fights. He has a 14-6-1 record with an 8-0 T/KO record.
Prediction: Jourdain wins via KO.
