In a broadcast on Caracol Radio, Maxtín talked about the chances of Nairo Quintana joining UAE Emirates:

Nairo is an expert at defending himself against the wind, with echelons, defending himself in instances of cuts and descents, and he has an exceptional reading of the race. Anyone who is not surprised by Nairo Quintana is not familiar with international cycling.

These statements are impressive and could mean a future relationship between the Arab team and the Colombian rider. Given this scenario, the Colombian rider could surely be Tadej Pogacar’s teammate.
As a result, Nairo might switch teams if UAE Emirates gives him a genuine offer that the Colombian can consider.
