Betting on Alianza Lima
After missing their first game by not attending their scheduled match against Sporting Cristal, Alianza Lima has made it clear that on the pitch they are favorites to repeat last year’s title. The Alianzista team registers two wins in a row and, with six points, is just one point behind the four co-leaders of the championship, one of whom is their current rival.
The team coached by Guillermo Salas won the national championship after beating Melgar in the playoff final, and their good start shows that this was no coincidence.
In its two victories Alianza Lima has exemplified its offensive power by scoring at least two goals in each of them and during the Clausura 2022, where it finished first in the table, it was the second-highest scoring club with 31 goals in 18 games.
Probable lineup (4-4-2): Franco Saravia; Gino Peruzzi, Carlos Montoya, Santiago García, Ricardo Lagos Puyén; Bryan Reyna, Josepmir Ballón, Pablo Lavandeira, Andrés Andrade; Gabriel Costa, Pablo Sabbag.
Betting on Cesar Vallejo
César Vallejo is one of the co-leaders of the championship and remains undefeated after three games. The team coached by Sebastián el loco Abreu has one draw and two wins, both of which came in the last two games of the tournament.
Like Alianza Lima, César Vallejo has had little trouble in the attacking front and was able to score at least two goals in each of the matches. In fact, with seven goals, they are second in Liga 1 behind Sporting Cristal’s eight, taking into account that three of the latter’s goals came as a result of their opponents’ non-attendance.
Possible lineup (4-4-2): Carlos Grados; Carlos Cabello, Carlos Ascues, Renzo Garcés, Jersson Vásquez; Ángel Rodríguez, Aldair Fuentes, Frank Ysique, Beto da Silva; Stefano Olaya, Yorleys Mena.
JefeBet Prediction
Both of these clubs have started the campaign with their foot on the gas. What’s more, the two clubs are among the top scorers in the championship, and in their last direct confrontations there has been no shortage of excitement.
In three of their last six meetings the scoreboard has seen at least three goals in total, while in four of those duels both clubs have scored.
Prediction: Both teams score (CES 1 – ALI 2).
