A new matchday is approaching in the Brasileirão, with the thirteenth matchday of the Brazilian first division starting on July 1st and extending until the 3rd of the same month. There will be a series of ten matches in which each team will seek to earn points to climb up the table.

One of the first matches that we can enjoy in this matchday 13 will be Bahia vs Gremio, a duel that promises to be really entertaining.
Gremio is second in the standings and has won their last two matches. They visit a Bahia team that, although they are in the middle of the table, have only lost one of their last seven home matches, scoring a total of 14 goals in the process.
The situation is that they host a Gremio team that is a powerhouse in this Brasileirão season, and only Flamengo has scored more than their 22 goals to date. Furthermore, they recently defeated Coritiba 5-1.
Gremio’s matches average 3.3 goals per game, with this figure only being surpassed by Flamengo’s (3.4). The last four matches they played away from home in Brasileirão had at least three goals.
All this encourages us to think about the Over. At Caliente you will find it with +100 odds, which means that you could win the same amount as the amount you enter for this bet.

Internacional (+115) vs Cruzeiro (+145) | Saturday July 1 | 8:30 PM ET
The International vs Cruzeiro match will be the last game played on July 1st and will feature one of the hottest teams in Brasileirão against a team going through an inconsistent period.
Internacional comes into the match after a 3-1 victory over Independiente Medellín in the Copa Libertadores, and they have been dominating domestically as well. They haven’t lost any of their last nine games, winning seven of them and scoring an average of 1.8 goals per game.
Cruzeiro won 1-0 in their last Brasileirão match, ending a seven-game winless streak, during which they conceded goals in every game. Now, they will be playing as the away team, but surprisingly, they have performed well in this position. In their last five away games, they have won twice and drawn three times, scoring at least one goal in each game.
Despite Internacional’s good form, they have conceded goals in seven of their last nine matches. Considering that Cruzeiro usually puts up a fight on away turf, it’s likely that both teams will find the back of the net at least once.

Athletico Paranaense (+210) vs Palmeiras (+135) | Sunday, July 2 | 3:00 PM ET
This will be one of the most exciting matches of the day as it is a rematch of one of the semi-finals of the previous season’s Copa Libertadores, with Palmeiras leading Athletico Paranaense by three points in the table.
This makes the Verdao a slight favorite, but we shouldn’t overlook that Athletico Paranaense has only lost one out of the 20 home games they have played in this entire 2023 season,and they have won the last three games without conceding a goal, including a 1-0 victory against the league leaders Botafogo a few weeks ago.
On the other hand, Palmeiras is going through a tough period in the Brasileirão. Although they won 4-0 against Bolívar in the Copa Libertadores during the week, they have suffered consecutive 1-0 defeats in the domestic competition against Botafogo and Bahia, and have only won one out of their last four away games in the league.
It will be a very even match, but we believe Athletico Paranaense could take at least a point. For this reason, we recommend the Asian Handicap in favor of the home team, which has odds of (-120) at Caliente, and you only need Athletico to avoid defeat to win this bet.

Atlético Mineiro (-188) vs América-MG (+550) | Sunday, July 2 | 3:00 PM ET
Two clubs from Belo Horizonte will face off in this 13th round, with América-MG being the most in need of points to move out of the relegation zone in this Brasileirão.
The visitor has only been able to win two out of 12 games this season, all because of a defense that has conceded the most goals in the league with 27 against. Atlético Mineiro can’t boast much either, sitting in tenth place in the standings, although a victory would see them climb several spots.
Atlético Mineiro hasn’t been able to win in their last four official matches, but at least they have scored in each of them. Plus, they haven’t been shut out in front of their fans since April 6th, consistently getting their name on the scoresheet.
This trend could continue considering América-MG’s poor defensive performance. Despite this, we must highlight that Coelho comes from a 1-2 victory in the Copa Sudamericana, scoring at least twice in four of their last six official appearances.
