Brugge Preview
Club Brugge has been the upset in Group B of the Champions League group stage, as after four rounds so far, the team is in the top of the table without losing any of their matches. After three wins and one draw, the team leads the group with 10 points.
The most interesting thing that the Belgian team has shown is its defensive line, as so far it is the only team in its group that has not conceded any goals. It is also the best offensive team with seven goals scored.
They have already qualified for the round of 16, but can still try to keep their place and close the group stage undefeated. This will be their last home game of the season, and they will be looking to close with a perfect record, having won both of their previous two games.
Absences: Mats Rits, Kamal Sowah, Ruud Vormer.
Probable lineup: Simon Mignolet; Denis Odoi, Brandon Mechele, Abakar Sylla, Bjorn Meijer; Tajon Buchanan, Hans Vanaken, Raphael Onyedika, Casper Nielsen; Noah Lang, Ferran Jutgla.
Porto Preview
Porto currently occupies the second place in Group B, so a win in this match could secure their participation in the round of 16. The Portuguese team has six points after two wins and two losses. It is worth mentioning that their two victories have come consecutively in their last two games, and in both they managed to keep a clean sheet.
It is a great challenge for Porto, since in the first match against this rival they lost by a score of 0-4 as locals. They will now play away, where they won their last match by a score of 0-3 against Bayer Leverkusen.
Absences: Pepe, Joao Mario.
Probable lineup: Diogo Costa; Wendell Nascimento, David Carmo, Fábio Cardoso, Rodrigo Conceicao; Otavio da Silva, Mateus Uribe, Stephen Eustaquio, Eduardo Aquino; Evanilson de Lima, Mehdi Taremi.
JefeBet Prediction
Club Brugge can play this match knowing that they have already qualified for the round of 16, but that will not detract from their intention to close as the best team of its group. Thus, they will surely take advantage of their local condition, where they have lost only one of their last 10 matches in all competitions.
Although Porto has not lost in their last four away appearances in all competitions, they are not expected to get three points here because of the Belgians solid defensive line.
Prediction: Brugge wins by a score of 2-1.
