FC Porto Preview
FC Porto is back in action in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, following in the footsteps of leader Benfica, being only two points behind them after 13 rounds.
Their last match in the domestic league before the World Cup break, ended in a 1-4 victory over Boavista, and this time they will have another excellent opportunity to take all the three points as they will be hosting Arouca at the Estadio do Dragão stadium.
In the last 20 matches played at home in all competitions, Porto has only lost twice, to Benfica in local competition and to Club Brugge in the Champions League, with a record of one draw and 17 victories. Furthermore, in the last 14 home victories, the Blue Dragons have never scored less than two goals, and this year in the Primeira Liga, they have only conceded nine goals, the second-lowest number in the tournament.

Arouca will not have an easy return to Primeira Liga action when they face one of the favorites to win the championship trophy.
However, Arouca fans should be proud of the good season they are having so far, and that could be a good incentive to try to pull off an upset this Wednesday. After 13 games played, they occupy tenth place in the standings with 19 points, four points away from European qualification, largely thanks to their solid performance on the road.
After starting the campaign with a drubbing at home to Benfica, Arouca now registers 10 consecutive matches without defeats playing away, with seven wins and three draws.
