Magallanes‘ current situation seems unbeatable so far. It was promoted after winning the Chilean Primera B, was champion of the Copa Chile, and recently won the Supercopa after defeating Colo Colo in a penalty shootout.
Now comes the real trial by fire, which is to start their journey in the First Division after 35 years of having been relegated, and the first game they will face will be against O’Higgins. El Manojito de Claveles (Magallanes) has not known what it is like to lose an official match since August, when it lost to Barnechea by a score of 3-2 while still playing in Primera B.
