Deportivo Garcilaso remains the leader of Liga 1 with 13 points. Meanwhile, Sporting Cristal is in 5th place with 9 points.
Binacional – Universitario (Mar 13)
The Crema team achieved a hard-fought victory in Cusco with goals from Emanuel Herrera and Alex Valera, after putting in a lot of effort. This win marked their second consecutive victory and helped them move up to sixth place in the table with a total of 9 points. This match marked Jorge Fossati’s debut as coach of the Merengues in Liga 1.
For its part, Binacional still has one point, and it is in second-to-last place in the Peruvian championship standings.
