Sporting Cristal 1 – 0 Melgar (2/17)

César Vallejo 3 – 1 Unión Comercio (2/17)
César Vallejo did well at home and won with personality against Unión Comercio. The scorers for the local team were Aldair Fuentes, Aldo Olaya and Yorleys Mena. Although they started off losing the game, after 70 minutes the team got back on track and scored three goals in less than ten minutes. Sport Huancayo 1 – 3 Cienciano (2/18)
Cienciano defeated Sport Huancayo at home after a phenomenal start in the matchday 5 game. In the first ten minutes of the game, Carlos Beltrán and Juan Romagnoli scored for the visitors. Despite Huancayo’s attempt to equalize, Cienciano’s defense was a real wall and the score ended 3-1.
This is the second win in a row for Cienciano, which occupies the sixth place in Liga 1. Sport Huancayo is eleventh and has accumulated three points out of a possible six.
Sport Boys 0 – 1 Carlos Mannucci (18/2)
Carlos Mannuci is still undefeated in this edition of Liga 1 and was delighted with the victory over Sport Boys on the road. The match was very even and full of friction, as the referee ended up showing 8 yellow cards. Raziel García opened the scoring for the visitors in the 37th minute with a goal that was enough to seal the victory.
With the result, the Carlistas are second in the Peruvian tournament, thanks to their two victories, while Sport Boys are in 14th position with three points obtained so far.
Atlético Grau 1 – 1 ADT (2/19)
The only draw of the matchday so far came in this match and in the first 18 minutes everything was already defined. The scorers were Álvaro Ampuero for the home side and Kevin Serna for the visitors. In a tremendously evenly matched game, it was Atletico Grau who had more ball control.

In one of the most eagerly awaited matches of the day, both clubs offered a tremendous match. The powerful Alianza Lima struck the blow as visitors, thanks to goals from Pablo Sabbag and Gabriel Costa. The game tightened up in the last twenty minutes after Universitario conceded a Luis Urruti goal, but the Blue and Whites’ defense was very solid.
With this victory, Alianza Lima is in eighth place in the championship standings with six points and two wins in a row. Meanwhile, Universitario is in tenth place, with a winless streak of two consecutive matchdays.
Cusco 2 – 1 Alianza Atletico (2/19)
Cusco gave their fans a reason to celebrate with an enthralling 2-1 victory in the 59th minute when Felipe Rodríguez opened the scoring. Three minutes later and taking advantage of the heat, it was José Fajardo who sealed the victory. In terms of possession of the ball, it was Alianza, who led the way. However, in shots and concrete actions, the local team was on top.
The team from Cusco is currently in 15th place after obtaining its first three points, which could be the beginning of something good. Alianza Atletico, who broke its undefeated record, is currently ninth.
Deportivo Municipal 2 – 0 Binacional (20/2)
Deportivo Municipal was another of the teams that won playing as locals. With goals by Matías Pérez and Luis Ramos, they scored in a match they dominated from start to finish. Despite Binacional’s attempts and pressure, Deportivo was effective and confident to give their fans a second consecutive joy.
After the result of this match, Deportivo Municipal positioned itself in seventh place in the championship, while Binacional is at the bottom of the standings, with no points and a goal difference of -7.
