Wazeerat Al Sa’ada, known as such in her home country, secured her spot in the final by defeating Aryna Sabalenka 6-7(5), 6-4, and 6-3 in two hours and 22 minutes of play. The Tunisian got back on her feet in the second set, when she turned around a 2-4 deficit by winning four consecutive service games for the decisive 6-4 victory.

Ons Jabeur, the sixth seed, made a difference with her second serve, winning 64% of points compared to her opponent’s mere 49%. Although she finished the match with only three aces (compared to her rival’s 10), she had a better percentage of points won with her first serve compared to her Belarusian counterpart (74% vs. 71%).

Despite saving seven of her 10 break points against her, Sabalenka could do little on Wednesday despite defeating two top 25 players in straight sets in her last two matches, which undoubtedly speaks to Jabeur’s level of play on the grass courts of London.

In addition, this victory was the third for the Ksar Hellal native against a top 10 player at the All England Club, something that hadn’t happened since 2012, when a certain Serena Williams was involved. It’s worth noting that so far in this tournament, Jabeur has won half of her matches in three sets and has a 7-3 record in 2023 when she doesn’t win in straight sets.

In the previous round, Jabeur eliminated none other than the reigning champion, Elena Rybakina, who ironically defeated her in the last Wimbledon final. After dashing Sabalanka’s hopes of becoming the new world number one, Jabeur will now aim for her first major title. Will she achieve it? Only time will tell.

If you think that the Tunisian tennis player will play a long match again, betting $100 at DraftKings on Total Games: Over (21.5) you could win $83 thanks to their line of (-120).

Wimbledon is the only Grand Slam that has had seven different champions in its past seven editions, and these two players are responsible for that. After numerous injuries, Vondrousova was able to regain her top form to achieve what she did at Roland Garros in 2019, where she was a finalist.

She will be the fourth Czech athlete to reach the final day of Wimbledon, following in the footsteps of Jana Novotna (1998), Petra Kvitova (2011 and 2014), and Karolina Pliskova (2021). Of course, in order to be here on Saturday, she had to battle against Elina Svitolina, whom she defeated with a double 6-3 in just over an hour and 15 minutes of play.

Svitolina had made a big upset in the tournament by eliminating Iga Swiatek, the reigning WTA ranking leader, but she couldn’t do much against Marketa, who had an impressive 74% first serve percentage compared to Svitolina’s alarming 48% average.

With this victory, the Ukrainian will take center stage, having only dropped two sets throughout the entire competition despite facing off against three players currently in the Top 20.

El Jefe’s Prediction on Ons Jabeur vs Marketa Vondrousova

As we mentioned before, Jabeur has played 50% of her matches to three sets. However, it’s worth noting that she lost the first set in all of them, while Vondrousova won the first set in five out of six of her matches. At JefeBet, we believe that Vondrousova will take the lead once again.

By betting $100 on DraftKings with Vondrousova’s Moneyline Set 1 (+150) odds, you could win $150. Don’t miss out on this opportunity.

Prediction: Ons Jabeur wins in 3 sets (3-6, 6-4, 7-5) | Bet on Jabeur’s victory here.
