She also bagged a Grand Slam title this year when she topped the field in Wimbledon. The four-time major winner is also just coming off a strong run in the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati as part of her preparation for the US Open.

Rybakina has become one of the strongest competitors of late. The Russian has two titles this year, having won the Internazionali BNL d’Italia and the BNP Paribas Open. Rybakina had a forgettable US Open in 2022, as he was eliminated in the first round by Clara Burel. Nevertheless, Rybakina is a name to watch, considering she’s ranked fourth overall in the world right now.

Ostapenko isn’t known to be a strong performer in the US Open, but could this be the year she finally turns heads in the tournament? Fernandez lost on the grand stage to Emma Raducanu, but she definitely sent a strong message.
