Matchday 7 of the Apertura 2022 of the Liga MX featured eight exciting matches that gave us a great number of goal shouts. The only match that did not take place was Puebla vs. Pumas due to the invitation received by the university team to play against FC Barcelona in Spain for the Gamper Trophy. Despite missing one game, this did not prevent the goal-scoring quota from increasing in relation to previous dates.

After several dates in which the number of goals had dropped, in this Day 7 of Liga MX the teams excelled and gave us a total of 29 goals. Only two of the 16 teams were held scoreless, but no match lacked the special guest, as none of them remained 0-0.

JefeBet selected for you the best 5 goals of all those scored this weekend.

Best Goals Liga MX – Day 7 of the Apertura 2022

Ozziel Herrera – Atlas

The 21-year-old forward, Ozziel Herrera, scored one of Atlas‘ goals in a 3-1 win over Querétaro. With his goal, the youngster gave the red-and-black team a 2-1 partial lead, which meant a comeback after going into the half-time break trailing by the minimum.

The ball came to him when he was facing the goal but outside the area, without hesitation, he shot the ball with his right foot and managed to surprise the goalkeeper who could not prevent it from entering the goal.

Arturo González – Monterrey

Arturo Alfonso González had a dream night in Monterrey’s 5-1 win over León. He scored three of his team’s five goals at 34th, 37th, and 71st minute. As a midfielder we are used to his recovery work, but in this game he was motivated to go on the attack.

He appeared on the left flank, and his teammate noticed, so he made a change of play for him. “Ponchito” measured the ball well and headed the ball to make the score 2-0.

Henry Martín – Club América

Henry Martín scored both goals as Club América defeated Juárez on Day 7 of the Apertura 2022. The Mexican striker scored a brace for the second consecutive league match and is proving to be the offensive sensation for the Coapa team.

The second goal against Juárez is worth repeating several times. The player entered the area with the mark of a defender, but a teammate had already respected his movement and passed him the ball, as a resource he kicked as he came and scored the goal.

Oswaldo Alanís – Mazatlán

Mexican defender Oswaldo Alanís was the hero of the match between Mazatlán and Chivas, scoring the goal that gave Mazatlán a 2-1 win in the 87th minute. He applied the law of the ex without remorse.

The goal came from a set piece on the edge of the box, a teammate made a pass to Alanís, and he confidently released his left foot to convert the goal.

Emilio Orrantia – Santos Laguna

Carlos Emilio Orrantia was one of the players who contributed a goal in Santos‘ 4-0 win over Cruz Azul on Saturday, August 6. His goal is one of the best of this weekend, look what a great goal.

Orrantia receives the ball after a change of play and measures it until it fits comfortably for a volley. The ball hit the frame but ended up in the net to seal the score.
