Betting on the Minnesota Vikings
One of the biggest surprises of the 2022–23 NFL season were the Minnesota Vikings, who ended the Green Bay Packers’ three-year dominance of the NFC North by entering the final week of the season already in possession of their 21st divisional championship and first since 2017.
Despite that, the Vikings intend to bounce back after getting unexpectedly beaten up by precisely their divisional rival, the Packers. In this game, which ended with a score of 17-41, the team’s offense was unusually inefficient, scoring just 3 points in the first three quarters.
The Vikings have permitted a respectable offensive output this season, averaging 24.7 points per game, but their defense has been a major disappointment, allowing an average of 25.9 points per game, second worst in the NFL.
