With this Vikings vs Bears matchup, the NFL’s Week 18 action will continue. These two teams have had quite different seasons, but they now want to end the regular season on a high note.
The Vikings came away with a 22-29 win in the first meeting of the season between these teams; this was their fourth win in their last five meetings against the Bears, who will now look to shake off that dominance.

Betting on the Minnesota Vikings
One of the biggest surprises of the 2022–23 NFL season were the Minnesota Vikings, who ended the Green Bay Packers’ three-year dominance of the NFC North by entering the final week of the season already in possession of their 21st divisional championship and first since 2017.
Despite that, the Vikings intend to bounce back after getting unexpectedly beaten up by precisely their divisional rival, the Packers. In this game, which ended with a score of 17-41, the team’s offense was unusually inefficient, scoring just 3 points in the first three quarters.
The Vikings have permitted a respectable offensive output this season, averaging 24.7 points per game, but their defense has been a major disappointment, allowing an average of 25.9 points per game, second worst in the NFL.
Betting on the Chicago Bears
In contrast to their rival, the Chicago Bears haven’t been able to show a good face at any time during the campaign, currently owning the second-worst record in the league, surpassed only by the Houston Texans (2-13-1).
The Bears enter their final regular season game on a mission to end a dreadful streak of nine consecutive losses in which they have allowed 25 points or more each time. Their most recent defeat was a drubbing against the Detroit Lions by a score of 10-41, despite having won the first quarter 10-7.
As you might expect, the Bears defense has been very poor this campaign, as it is the worst in the NFL with an average of 27.1 points allowed per game. Regarding their offense, even though it’s the best in completed rushing yards (181.0 per game) they score an awful average of 19.6 points per game.
JefeBet Prediction
The Vikings have been a fantastic offensive club this season despite their most recent performance, and they should have a strong showing tonight against a Bears defense that has recently shown a lot of weakness. Moreover, they’ve scored 27 points or more against them in three of their last four meetings.
Although Minnesota’s defense isn’t the finest either, this could be a nice chance to improve since they’ll be up against a weak offense that hasn’t scored more than 20 points in each of its last five games.
Being at home hasn’t been a great help for the Bears either, so we expect the Vikings, who will be eager to bounce back after their last loss, to once again display their great offensive power and come away with a convincing victory in this game.
Prediction: Minnesota Vikings Spread (MIN 31- CHI 19).
