East LA Parade Mexican Independence Day Parade & Festival
The East Los Angeles Parade is another of the parades held in this city as part of the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, which is used to celebrate the Independence of Mexico. Every year, a theme is selected to be developed and represented in the parade.
This year will mark the 75th Annual Mexican Independence Day Parade and Festival in East Los Angeles, billed by organizers as the longest and largest of its kind in the United States. This event can only be described as a movie, music, and food gathering: that’s the LA Times Eat See Hear, presented this year by SHOWTIME. This is the Los Angeles’ original outdoor traveling film series that is held in varying venues throughout the city and which features a wide variety of classic films, live music, and delicious food.
