Welterweight

Nate Diaz, a 33-fight veteran, is currently on the downward curve of his career, having lost three of his most recent fights, one to Irishman Conor McGregor. He hasn’t fought in over a year, ever since his decision loss to England’s Leon Edwards. However, given his track record, dismissing him would provide him with a significant advantage in the octagon.

Tony Ferguson, 38, is another veteran of the sport, having fought 31 times and winning 25 (20 before the limit) and losing 7. Born in Oxnard, California, he has four consecutive losses. Both fighters are considered UFC street legends, and this could be considered one of the most anticipated fights in the last decade of the discipline.

Although Ferguson currently has the better pace to take the fight, it will be a very evenly matched fight.

Prediction: Nate Diaz wins (Submission).

Khamzat Chimaev (-556) vs Kevin Holland (+400)

Welterweight

Khamzat Chimaev is an impressive Russian fighter, currently living in Sweden, who has the amazing record of 11 wins in 11 fights. He has been a UFC participant for a little more than two years and has stood out in each of the events in which he has fought. Only one of the victories was by decision, with the rest coming via KO (6) or submission (4). His last appearance was in April, when he defeated Brazilian Gilbert Burns by points in Jacksonville, Florida.

Kevin Holland, 29 years old and with 30 fights under his belt, put on a good performance this year with his two-round win over Brazilian Alex Oliveira in Las Vegas. Holland’s high KO percentage makes him very dangerous for this clash. We believe that Chimaev, however, is the clear favorite for this match.

Prediction: Khamzat Chimaev (KO) wins.

Li Jingliang (+135) vs Daniel Rodriguez (-164)

Welterweight

The two competitors will meet for the first time at the T-Mobile Las Vegas event. Lee Jingliang, 34, is a Chinese fighter who has been in the UFC for eight years and has a lot of experience in the octagon. He has fought in 26 fights, winning 19 (10 by KO and 4 by submission), and among the ones that beat him is one of the card’s mainstays, Russian Chimaev.

Daniel Rodriguez hasn’t seen action this year. However, in 2021, this 1986-born fighter won all three of his fights. He is 50 percent effective in winning before the limit. A weight advantage of more than 5 kg could be decisive in maintaining a pace comparable to his opponent inside the cage.

Undoubtedly, this will be an evenly matched bout. Jingliang cannot be underestimated, but Rodriguez has enough of an advantage to score his fourth consecutive victory.

Prediction: Daniel Rodriguez wins (Decision).
