Betting on the Miami Dolphins

After a busy preseason in terms of acquisitions and renovations, the Dolphins got off to a good start in the current season with a solid victory over the Patriots.
Miami’s defense was the star of the game, allowing just 277 total yards and forcing three New England turnovers, including a fumble that ended in a touchdown. A very good start for an area that will surely be more demanding against Lamar Jackson’s Ravens.
Offensively, Tua Tagovailoa did not disappoint in his performance with 270 yards and a touchdown pass, while Tyreek Hill debuted with eight receptions and 94 yards. Those are good records, but they will have to improve against a Baltimore team that will surely score more points and be tougher on defense.
Betting on the Baltimore Ravens
- Regular Season Record: 1-0
- Spread: -3.5
- Moneyline: (-179)
- Over/Under: 43.5
Lamar Jackson’s possible last season with the Ravens got off to a good start with a win over the New York Jets.
Although the defense allowed 378 total yards, they were able to recover by forcing two turnovers by their opponents. The Jets were barely able to score nine points, and the Dolphins will need much more punch than they had against the Patriots to take advantage of the Ravens.
For his part, Jackson returned to his usual pace, throwing for 213 yards through the air, three touchdowns and 17 more yards on the ground. Baltimore did not add much yardage, with 274 for the entire game, but was able to take advantage of all the opportunities wasted by New York to seal the game.
JefeBet Prediction
Although the Ravens are favored in Las Vegas, this game is projected to be closer than expected. The Dolphins must have gained a lot of confidence after that game against New England, while the Ravens didn’t do very well, but they were playing a Jets team that did worse.
Both teams showed that in tight moments they can play good defense and in their quest to maintain their undefeated record, the fight will be quite intense.
Prediction: Under.
