Betting on the Dallas Cowboys

What looked to be a very long season for the Cowboys after Dak Prescott’s injury in the first week of the season could be on track to be a very good one this Sunday if they can come out on top in Philadelphia.
After losing to the Buccaneers in the regular round opener, the Cowboys have now won four games in a row on the strength of a very good performance by backup quarterback Cooper Rush and a superb performance by one of the best defenses in the league, the same one that has the team second in catches with 20third with the fewest points (72) and net yards per pass (4.7) allowed.
And while the touchdowns scored so far have been good for the wins, Dallas is the tenth-worst team in average yards per play at 5.1 and its 93 points scored are the ninth fewest in the league. These are hardly promising numbers before facing a strong defense like Philadelphia.
Betting on the Philadelphia Eagles

While the Eagles were projected to have a good season, expectations are being met in an unexpected way as they head into the sixth week of action undefeated and with the opportunity to take a significant lead over the favorites to win the division.
The offense has been successfully guided by Jalen Hurts, who although hasn’t posted great numbers through the air, as is expected of a QB, he has scored 10 touchdowns in the season thanks to four touchdown passes and six TDs on the ground. That ability to run with the ball and complete 67.9% of their passes is what makes it so difficult to defend a team that is co-leader in yards gained per pass (7.6), second in total yards (2099) and fifth in points scored (135).
The defense has also been very impressive. The Eagles match Dallas in average yards per play with 4.7, are co-leaders in fumbles recovered, and air yards allowed with 11 and 4.6, respectively, and seventh in points conceded with 88.

The Cowboys’ ability to win has shocked many, thanks to a strong defense and an efficient offense. However, these Eagles are the best team they have faced so far and things will not be that easy this time.
Against Philadelphia, scoring 20 points will not be enough. Cooper Rush must have a better night and that looks unlikely against a relentless Eagles defense that is also backed by an excellent offense.
