Baseball is one of the sports that uses a uniform with extensive body coverage, so looking for some player’s worst tattoos is, virtually, an impossible task. However, some of them are visible enough to be seen, or the players themselves have taken on the task of showing them, for the good or the bad luck of those who had laid eyes on them.
Here at JefeBet we took on the task of looking for these ”works of art”, and we have put together a list of 4 of the worst aesthetic choices of MLB Latino ballplayers.
Worst Tattoos of Latino Baseball Players in the MLB 2022
4. The “Aries” of Félix Hernández
Felix Hernandez has many good tattoos on his body, especially those that have to do with gratitude and the remembrance of his family. However, the former Seattle Mariners pitcher did not live up to his nickname of “The King” with the tattoo that he got on the right side of his neck. He revealed that the tattoo represents a tribal “Aries”, in honor of his zodiac sign. Ummm, that’s something a bit strange, Felix.
3. Yadier Molina and his Martian
Over the years Yadier Molina has been filling his body with ink, which includes “El Marciano”. While the meaning of the piece is extremely important because it honors his softball team in Puerto Rico, the one he uses to raise money for foundations for children on the streets, the design doesn’t seem to have the same good intentions.
2. The eye of Aroldis Chapman
Aroldis Chapman is known for being one of the Major League Baseball players with the most tattoos on his body, including several of the worst baseball player tattoos there are. The New York Yankees closer added several images to his collection, the one that goes along his neck, including a pair of stars on the left side and a pyramid with an eye in the middle that covers the entire area.
1. Why, Vladimir Gutiérrez?
Cuban Vladimir Gutiérrez has only been in Major League Baseball for a short time, but his tattoos are already well known around the league. Like his countryman Chapman, the Cincinnati Reds starter has several tattoos on his neck, including a large spider that covers the entire area.
The right-hander has not yet been able to explain the reason behind that piece, but it certainly qualifies as number one on our list of worst baseball player tattoos in the MLB.
