The hectic college football agenda continues with the current regular season.And, although we are already used to the large number of matches scheduled, we are still waiting for more surprises, as we have seen matches of all kinds, in which not always the strongest beats the weakest.

After performing flawlessly with six straight wins in the first few weeks, gloomy days came for Syracuse right in the middle of the regular season. They have two games without a win; after losing their unbeaten streak to Clemson 27-21, they stumbled again against Notre Dame 41-24.
Orange is in second place in the Atlantic Coast Conference (Atlantic), where it has been the second team with the fewest points against (147). For now, it cannot challenge for the top spot in its conference standings, as Clemson holds on to that spot as the only undefeated team.

Pittsburgh has not been able to get its act together all season, and, although it managed to record four wins in eight games, only two of them came in a row. They opened their season with a 38-31 win over West Virginia, but then suffered a 34-27 loss to Tennessee. Their back-to-back wins came against Western Michigan 34-13 and Rhode Island 45-24.
The second loss came in the game against Georgia Tech by 26-21, and, although they managed to beat Virginia Tech by 45-29 in the next game, they now have two consecutive losses against Louisville by 24-10 and North Carolina by 42-24.
