Trevor Lawrence will look to take his game to the next level following his breakout in Year 2 of his career in the pros. Last season, the former Clemson Tigers star quarterback passed for 4,113 yards and 25 touchdowns against only eight interceptions. There remains plenty of promise and potential in Lawrence that the Jaguars are looking to tap in the coming 2023 NFL season. He has a new major weapon to help him on offense, with Calvin Ridley arriving in Jacksonville after a long absence.
It was just in 2020 when Ridley garnered 1,374 receiving yards and nine touchdown receptions with the Atlanta Falcons, and now he will be part of Jacksonville’s attack that averaged 23.9 points per game in 2022.

Indiana is in a transition. The Colts will be testing their new quarterback right away, as they have already given rookie Anthony Richardson the nod to start under center in Week 1 against Jacksonville.
There will be growing pains for Richardson. It will likely get ugly first for him before he gets fully acclimatized to the level of play in the NFL, but the talent is already there for the former Florida Gators star. Last year, he passed for 2,549 yards and 17 touchdowns with nine interruptions for the Gators. He also rushed for 654 yards and nine touchdowns. Moving from Matt Ryan to the athletic and mobile Richardson provides Indianapolis with different angles on offense.
