Forward Raul Jiménez is open to the possibility of playing in MLS and even returning to Liga MX.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers player of the Premier League is in Mexican territory concentrated with the Mexican National Team for the last three dates of the World Cup Qualifiers heading to Qatar 2022. And, while preparing for the match against the United States National Team, he took the time to give an interview to TUDN where he talked about the possibility of reaching Major League Soccer in the future.

Raul Jiménez, who debuted in Liga MX with Club America said that just as he would play in Mexican football again, he would also play in the American league, although he also sees a possibility of reaching China: “It is always a possibility, I never close the doors of any place, as well as I would return to Mexico, one day why not go to the United States. On some occasion I could go to China, if given the opportunity maybe I would do it on this occasion.”

And although he is now still living the European dream, the striker said he will always look for the best for him: “You always have to have the doors open and what comes and is the best for me.”

Raul Jiménez Does Not Consider the Duel against the United States Revenge

Regarding what will be played in this last stage of the hexagonal CONCACAF final for a ticket to the Qatar 2022 World Cup, Raul Jiménez referred to his next rival the United States.

“They play against the rivals who are competing to access the World Cup on this FIFA date, so it is a complicated date for them and just like us they risk their lives, then you also have to play a little with that, with their desire to want to be in the tournament and knowing that they have three complicated games.”

For the player of the “Wolves”, the Mexican team must try to do things better than the rival “Out there that desire to want to get the victory can play against them and that we can take advantage of to do things better and win the game”.

And despite the rivalry that exists in the CONCACAF Classic, Mexico vs. the United States, Raul Jiménez does not believe that this match is a revenge of what happened in the recent tournaments where the Stars and Stripes prevailed: “That happened last year, we know that we did not play good games against them but we have ever had streaks of having beaten them on several occasions.”

Jiménez was direct and said: “Today we are more moved by the desire to be in Qatar than by a rematch.”

The stricker is expected to start in the treble of matches that the Mexican National Team will face.
