The Azerbaijan GP will take place at the Baku Circuit from June 10-12. It is expected to be an entertaining and emotional race, just like the previous seven in the 2022 Formula 1 Season.

In seven races so far, Red Bull and Ferrari have already shown superiority over the rest of the teams, and it is very likely that in the Azerbaijan GP they will continue to compete one on one.

3.- Moment of Awakening for Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton
Mercedes boss Toto Wolff recently stated that it is unacceptable that the team is sitting third in the Constructors’ Championship: “Clearly, for all of us at Mercedes, that is not acceptable.” And it is that while George Russell is in fourth position in the Drivers’ Championship, the former world champion, Lewis Hamilton, is in sixth place.
This situation has begun to despair the team, since before his car was unstoppable, and now it is far from that. And if that wasn’t enough, Hamilton has only been able to get on the podium once this season, finishing in third place at the Bahrain GP. If they don’t wake up here, the championship will be further and further away.
4.- Mick Schumacher Forced to Reverse His Situation
Mick Schumacher may have his father’s last name, but they do not seem to share the same skill level when it comes to driving. He has had problems with the Haas car this 2022, but the most recent and worrying was at the Monaco GP, where he was involved in a spectacular accident where the car was split in half. Fortunately, he was unharmed. So far he has not been able to score points.
5.- The Memories of the Last Azerbaijan GP
Like the Monaco GP, the Azerbaijan GP takes place on a street circuit, which adds an extra touch of excitement to the race. Baku usually offers drama and perhaps that is why it has been one of the favorites since its first edition in 2017. It is unpredictable, and no driver has been able to repeat victory so far, Daniel Ricciardo won in 2017, Lewis Hamilton in 2018, Valtteri Bottas in 2019 and Sergio Pérez in 2021, the 2020 edition did not take place.
