F1 memes did not spare Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, who despite having started in first position, spun on lap 18 and had to abandon the French GP race. His frustration was evident as he shouted over the radio after not being able to continue in the competition.
But Leclerc wasn’t the only one to get it wrong at Ferrari this Sunday. The team made mistakes, as has been its habit over the course of the season, and this prevented Carlos Sainz from finishing in the top three.
The Spaniard and the Italian team ended up among the memes.
Undoubtedly the beneficiaries of Ferrari’s mistakes are Red Bull, as they continue to lead the constructors’ and drivers’ championship with Max Verstappen.
