This Saturday, May 28, Liverpool and Real Madrid will meet in the 2022 Champions League Final, which will be a rematch of the 2018 edition, in which the Spanish team won over the English team, landing their thirteenth title in the competition.

The venue for Liverpool vs Real Madrid will be the Stade de France, which has a capacity for 81,338 spectators. The final was originally going to take place in St. Petersburg, Russia, but, in the end, it was decided to change venues following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The actions of the match will be conducted by the French referee, Clement Turpin.

Liverpool vs Real Madrid: Where to watch the match live and streaming

The game will begin at 12:00 p.m. (Pacific time) and in the United States it can be watched on CBS, Univision, TUDN. It will also be broadcasted through streaming: Paramount + and fuboTV.

Real Madrid comes to this match after being crowned champion in the Spanish La Liga, while Liverpool is the runner-up in the Premier League, after adding one point less than champion Manchester City.

Both teams exploited their offensive game throughout the competition, which allows us to dream of a show similar to the one they offered in the final of the 2017/18 season at the Olympic Stadium in Kyiv, where both teams scored; in the end, however, the victory went to the Spanish team by a score of 3-1.

Liverpool vs Real Madrid: absences and injuries for the UEFA Champions League final

The teams are still ironing out the logistics, but it appears that they will bring their best to the clash.

At the beginning of the week there was talk that Real Madrid had doubts about the recovery of defender David Alaba and striker Rodrygo, but it seems that those doubts are cleared up, and Carlo Ancelotti will be able to have both players, since both have overcome their respective injuries. Rodrygo will probably remain a substitute, but Alaba is shaping up to appear in the starting eleven.

For Liverpool, Jürgen Klopp has recovered two of his most important players, defender Virgil van Dijk and striker Mohamed Salah, who were doubtful to play due to some injuries they suffered a few days ago. For the time being, the only member of the English team in doubt is Spaniard Thiago Alcántara, who was hurt in the Premier League’s last game against Wolverhampton.
