On September 29th at The Doyle in Las Vegas, JefeBet sponsored a panel discussion with the most prominent Hispanic leaders in Southern Nevada organized by the Nevada Preservation Foundation (NPF). This was a series of talks as part of Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States called Hispanic Heritage: past, present + future.

Speakers at this event were Olivia Díaz (Nevada City Councilwoman, District 3), Peter Guzmán (President and CEO of the Las Vegas Latin Chamber of Commerce), and Magdalena Martínez (UNLV Associate Professor of Public Policy and Leadership). In addition, the moderator was Brian Paco Álvarez, Las Vegas cultural historian and CEO of Psionic Art Works.
Mariachi Joya entertained the event, a mariachi music group comprised of 20 Las Vegas High School students. These students were invited by the Mexican Embassy to perform at the Mexican Cultural Institute in Washington, DC.
This is part of the group of events that JefeBet has advanced to create and strengthen the Latino and Hispanic community in the United States, particularly in Las Vegas. Not only did we create an event center where different activities converge on a monthly basis, but we also had great participation in rebranding the Lucky Casino Hotel to make it a convergence space for Latinos.
