The 2022 NFL Draft will be held in Las Vegas, April 28-30, so that NFL franchises can select the best in college american football to build their teams for the 2022 season. In the previous days we have heard several last names that will be in the First Round, but there are some that have not been given diffusion and that even if they are selected late, they have skills and qualities to shine in the NFL.
Every american football lover is anxious for the NFL Draft 2022 to begin, but fans of franchises that had a poor 2021 campaign especially are hoping for a good selection here so that it could lead to general improved performance. Available players are also eager to know where they will play in the beginning of their NFL careers. And some are not being considered as first choices despite their talent, so, here we present those who we believe will surprise.
DeMarvin Leal – Texas A&M
The Defensive Line appears to be out of the experts’ contemplation to be selected in the First Round of the 2022 NFL Draft despite having been able to play in several areas in high school and having had a solid career in college american football. Leal is a versatile player and this will make the team that selects him a winner, whether in the second or third round.
Calvin Austin III – Memphis
The receiver played two seasons with Memphis, where he was able to demonstrate his speed as well as his skills as a receiver. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds, which allows him to run at full speed and dodge opponents when he has the ovoid in his hands. In two years, Austin caught 19 touchdowns.
Charlie Kolar – Iowa State
Kolar was one of the best tight ends during his college career, racking up 157 receptions and 20 touchdowns over three seasons, but, despite that, he is not considered a first-round pick. He is a sure-handed TE who only dropped two passes in his three years of college. He is expected to be released in the second round.
Coby Bryant – Cincinnati
The Bryant surname clearly transports us to the NBA, but that is not the case here. This is a cornerback from Cincinnati, who does not appear among the best in this Draft, due to the lack of speed he has shown lately. He is 6 feet 1 inch so his height can be considered a skill for a team in need of a corner to select him even if it is not in the First Round.
Ty Davis-Price – LSU
The LSU running back appears on this list as he hasn’t quite convinced anybody to be eligible for a First Round pick. His biggest drawback is that as a receiver he has not looked good, although this is largely because LSU did not focus much on exploiting that talent. He could be selected in the last round, or even be an undraftee but be able to have a good rookie campaign in the NFL.
