The Los Angeles Chargers surprised the sports world this week with an excellent idea: to present their 2022/23 NFL season schedule through a creative anime video clip.
The question “Should we really make our calendar release video an anime?” appeared at the top of the Californian team’s social media post, alongside the creative clip that is just over two minutes long.
For the creation of this content, the creators referenced popular anime series like One Piece, Food Wars!, Attack on Titan, and Naruto, among others.
Thanks to this innovation, the Chargers received positive feedback from hundreds of thousands of fans of professional football who appreciate the NFL organization’s efforts to do things differently in marketing and social media.
The Los Angeles team has just finished third in the AFC West Division, with a record of 9 wins and 8 losses: three games behind the Kansas City Chiefs.
